Two Weeks to Better Breath and Healthier Gums
Save a bundle on breath mints and brush up your oral hygiene routine. Daily brushing and flossing can improve breath and oral health in a matter of days, finds a study of twins ages 12 to 21. Half of the twins brushed their teeth and tongue twice daily, while the other half brushed and added flossing twice a day. Two weeks later, both groups had better breath and the flossers had 38 percent less bleeding in their gums.1
